If so, Lendbuzz is looking for an Area Sales Manager to lead our state-level sales efforts and elevate our presence across a high-opportunity market.In this role, you'll oversee a field sales team, guiding them in driving dealer engagement, expanding market share, and delivering exceptional field execution. You'll translate our national sales strategy into localized action—ensuring consistent, scalable growth across every metro and sub-region in the state.Reporting to senior sales leadership, you will serve as the primary champion of production, dealer success, and team development in one of our most strategically important territories.Residence within or near the assigned geographic territory is required.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn overall state performance, ensuring execution against volume, growth, penetration, and retention targetsSet clear expectations, rhythms, and sales processes that drive accountability and consistent success across the fieldRecruit, train, coach, and mentor field sales teamConduct regular field rides, performance reviews, and skill development sessions to elevate team capabilityAnalyze state-level trends, competitor activity, and dealer dynamics to identify opportunitiesDevelop and execute localized strategies that maximize production across metro, suburban, and rural areasGuide your team in signing high-value dealerships, strengthening existing partnerships, and promoting Lendbuzz programsStep in to support escalations, high-impact opportunities, and key dealer relationships as neededPartner closely with underwriting, credit, inside sales, operations, and marketing to ensure a seamless dealer experienceHelp remove obstacles, streamline processes, and ensure clarity between the field and internal teamsUse data-driven reporting and KPIs to assess team performance, identify gaps, and implement improvement plansRegularly review territory health, dealer performance, and pipeline opportunities with the field teamQualifications10+ years of experience in Automotive Lending, F&I, Dealer Sales, or related fields—preferably with multi-territory or statewide oversight5+ years proven success leading and developing a sales team, ideally in high-volume or high-growth environmentsStrong dealer network throughout the area, with a demonstrated ability to open doors and accelerate growthHands‑on leadership style – you coach in the field, not from behind a deskHighly strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into clear, actionable plansData‑driven mindset, comfortable reviewing KPIs and coaching the team through performance metrics with the ability to analyze trends and identify opportunitiesWillingness to travel extensively within the state (up to 70–80%); must have a valid driver's license with clean driving historyBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferredBilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not requiredWhat Success Looks LikeA high‑performing, engaged statewide field team with strong retention, clear accountability, and consistent execution across all territoriesScalable dealer growth driven through strategic market coverage, deeper penetration, and high‑value partnerships across metro, suburban, and rural regionsSustained increases in state‑level contract volume and market share, supported by strong team coaching, disciplined pipeline management, and effective territory plansA coaching‑centered leadership culture rooted in field visibility, hands‑on development, and continuous improvementSeamless alignment and communication between the field and senior leadership, ensuring statewide execution matches organizational strategyA reputation as a trusted leader who elevates team performance, strengthens dealer relationships, and sets the standard for market excellence at LendbuzzA Note on Recruiting OutreachWe've been made aware of individuals falsely claiming to represent Lendbuzz using lookalike email addresses (eg @lendbuzzcareers.com).
