Intervention Specialist for Middle/High School ED Classroom
Position Description: Manage classroom and implements appropriate programs. Develop and implements IEPs. Conduct and participate in team meetings. Supervise classroom assistants.
Essential Functions: Ensure safety of students. Develop schedules and lesson plans for classroom appropriate to students IEPs. Develop and implement behavior management plans. Communicate with classroom assistants necessary information for student program implementation. Maintain a classroom that is conducive to learning. Interact in a positive manner with staff, students, and parents. Demonstrate a positive work ethic.
Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in education from an accredited college or university. • Appropriate State of Ohio teaching license.
