Aircraft Interior Cabin Stress SEP2024 - AL - 0402

Our client in the South West Alabama area is looking for Aircraft Interior Stress engineers responsible for providing design and analysis support to their engineering department.

Description:

Interiors Stress Analysis Engineer: Support a variety of aerospace programs.

You will perform interior systems stress analysis / structural analysis, support development of conceptual design phases through to released engineering drawing and stress analysis reports, support testing and prepare documentation with a range of aerospace engineering disciplines.

As an Interiors System Engineer: you will be responsible for the design of interior components, including customer specification review, design specifications, system design, system integration, supplier type testing review and approval.

Interior Systems Stress Engineer: Performs stress analysis of complex interior, system and structural installations. Able to derive specific installation requirements from FAA and customer requirements.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiar with stress analysis reports
  • Familiar with design and stress for Aircraft Interior or Structural Products

Required For Stress:

  • 5+ Years of relevant industry experience
  • Analysis skills on composite and metallic materials covering following domains: Structural (static, dynamic)
  • FEMAP/NxNastran
  • ABAQUS
  • Hand calculation methods
  • Awareness for costs and schedule
  • Problem solving skills
