Business Analyst

Pay Rate: $55 - $65 per hour, W 2

Summary:

• Location: Oakland, CA or Sacramento, CA
• Work Mode: Hybrid (once a week in Oakland or Sacramento)
• Duration: 3 Month Contract

Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis on moderately complex data models selecting from various reports and data options.
• Determine data needs, collect data, and select from different analytical techniques to achieve desired data outcomes.
• Prepare monthly actual costs invoices based on SAP report and contract language.
• Understand business needs, develop new reports, and perform custom/ad-hoc reporting independently. Present findings to various audiences.
• Perform basic research internally and externally.
• Communicate with peers inside and outside the department to exchange ideas or gather information.
• Participate on project teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience.

• Knowledge of different analytical methods, approaches, and tactics.
• Full understanding of fundamental analysis and what-if modeling and how different factors affect business outcomes.
• Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
• Invoicing experience.
• Organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
• Adaptable to changing business conditions and ambiguity.
• Presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, Visio, or similar software.
