Job Summary / Purpose:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant / Financial Analyst to perform a wide variety of accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, budgeting, and ad-hoc financial analysis. This role supports internal stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and auditors by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while contributing to overall organizational financial performance.
Work Environment:- Hybrid work model with required in-office presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, maintain, and monitor financial and productivity reports for regulatory agencies, auditors, and internal leadership.
- Perform general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Analyze financial data and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Assist with internal and external financial reporting requirements.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation schedules, and asset tracking.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and prepare reports as requested by leadership.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with audit preparation and provide requested documentation.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support operational efficiency initiatives.
- Utilize accounting systems, spreadsheets, and financial software to manage reporting functions.
Required Qualifications:Education:- College-level coursework in Accounting or related field required.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Accounting preferred.
Experience:- Minimum 2 years of full-scope accounting experience for a business required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting may substitute for required experience.
Technical Skills:- Experience with computers required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.
- Strong spreadsheet and financial reporting skills preferred.
