Bullitt East High School is searching for four (4) highly motivated and positive team members to assist a certified teacher in providing instruction to groups of students, monitor and report student progress, and enhance overall student performance. Experience working with students, intervention systems, and small groups are strongly desired.
This position will provide assistance for students with special needs. Candidate must be able to attend training for the position. Candidates must meet all qualifications necessary to be hired for the position as instructional assistant.
Position Details
Hours: 6.5 hours per day (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Contract Length: 183 days per year
Contract Adjustments: Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date
Employment Status: Full-time with benefits
Employment Type: 10-month employee on the classified salary schedule.

Payroll Note: While this is an hourly position, the salary is distributed via a year-long contract over 10 months. You will receive 4 paychecks at the end of June.
Salary Formula: Hours per day × Hourly rate = Daily rate <|> Daily rate × Contracted days = Annual salary. <|> Annual salary ÷ Remaining pay periods = Gross biweekly pay
