We are seeking a skilled software developer to support a Python and ROS2based control system built on commercial off the shelf hardware. This role sits at the intersection of software and hardware, supporting system development, provisioning, integration, and checkout in a highly technical environment. You will develop and maintain device drivers, perform hands on software bring up on testbeds and physical hardware, and contribute to improving system performance and reliability. A strong focus will be placed on automation and scripting to streamline provisioning workflows and improve repeatability across deployments.
The ideal candidate brings experience working with embedded and Linux based systems, is comfortable debugging complex hardware/software interactions, and thrives in fast paced engineering settings. Youll collaborate using modern version control workflows while also working independently to diagnose issues, optimize performance, and enhance system robustness. Experience with ROS or ROS2, instrumentation and control systems, and low? level debugging is essential, while familiarity with hardware integration, motor control, industrial networking, or tools such as Bash and Ansible is a strong plus.
Compensation: $80.00/hr.
