Director of Nursing (Management) SUMMARY
Provide high-level strategic decision-making and advice for updating curriculum, equipment, and infrastructure for the nursing division. Lead the design and implementation of processes and policies to ensure a therapeutic environment for patients. At least 2 years of experience in a management role of a nursing department is required. Must possess a license as a registered nurse from an accredited institute. Evaluate staff performance and assist in forecasting budgets. Perform audits of nursing standards of care. Ensure that the rights of patients and families are protected in all cases and work to escalate any issues hampering the quality of care on an urgent basis. Knowledge of infection control, nursing management, counseling is required. The ability to mentor team members is essential.
