Our client, a leading architectural / engineering firm, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical engineering / design production efforts in their Commercial, Education, Government, Mixed Use, Retail, and Workplace sectors.
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
- PE License in the U.S.
- 10+ years in mechanical/plumbing engineering (HVAC, controls, fire protection, piping).
- Proficiency in REVIT M&P and HVAC analysis tools (Carrier HAP or Trace 700 preferred).
- Extensive knowledge of building codes and BIM standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee mechanical engineering design and documentation using REVIT M&P.
- Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
- Prepare design studies, calculations, and narratives across all project phases.
- Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, electrical, and other disciplines.
