Pay: $23–$25 per hour
Schedule:
Full-Time: 30–32 hours/week (4 days)
Part-Time: 20–24 hours/week (3 days)
Location: Santa Clarita, CA 91355 + Program Sites Across Los Angeles County

Are you an artist who believes creativity can transform lives?
We are seeking passionate creatives to facilitate trauma-informed arts programs that support healing and empower justice-impacted youth in correctional facilities, community spaces, and schools across Los Angeles County. Our facilitators use art as a tool to help young people build confidence, develop creative skills, strengthen emotional resilience, and explore pathways to future careers.
This role is ideal for artists who want their work to have a meaningful real-world impact through mentorship, creativity, and youth empowerment.
️ This position includes regular programming inside juvenile detention facilities and requires travel across Los Angeles County (3–4 days per week).
Artistic Disciplines (Required)
Applicants must demonstrate strong skill in at least one area:
Digital Arts / Graphic Design
Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Procreate
Digital illustration, photography, or graphic design
Fashion / Jewelry / Fiber Arts
Crochet, machine or hand sewing
Pattern making, jewelry design, wearable art
Music Production / Audio
DAWs such as Logic Pro or Ableton
Recording, mixing, sound design, or podcast production
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate youth-centered arts programs in correctional facilities, community settings, and schools
Mentor youth through creative skill development and workforce readiness
Develop engaging lessons aligned with youth interests
Maintain a safe, respectful, and co-learning environment
Track attendance and complete required program documentation
Transport and manage program supplies across program sites
Collaborate with program staff and participate in team meetings
Qualifications
Advanced skill in Digital Arts, Fashion/Fiber Arts, or Music Production
2+ years experience working with youth
Strong group facilitation and curriculum development skills
Experience with justice-impacted or at-risk youth preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging environments
Requirements
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
Willingness to travel throughout Los Angeles County
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs of program materials
Must pass Live Scan background check
Authorization to work in the U.S.
