This Per Diem Youth Apprenticeship - Medical Assistant is a Per Diem at Beloit Health System located in Beloit, WI. The Youth Apprentice will be involved in day-to-day tasks to support healthcare professionals, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to the overall patient care experience.

This Youth Apprenticeship - Medical Assistant will apply infection prevention controls, standard precautions, respond to patient inquiries in professionally, perform administrative tasks, clean exam rooms, assist with taking vital signs, and may help assist with scheduling and patient records.

Qualifications

• Must be a current High School Student, 16 years of age or older
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a healthcare environment
• Basic understanding of medical terminology helpful
