Overview
Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a Clinician to provide high-quality behavioral health services to youth and families. This role focuses on delivering individual, group, and family therapy, supporting recovery through trauma-informed care, and collaborating with families, schools, and community partners. Services may be provided in office and community-based settings, including youth’s natural environments.
This part-time position will be based out of our Granite City, IL office.
The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $21.35 – $24.31 an hour.
Scheduling: Day-Time Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm
This role will guarantee 10 hrs Minimum, but can lead up to 40 hrs weekly

Responsibilities
- Complete timely and accurate documentation, including assessments, treatment/recovery plans, and progress notes in accordance with agency and funder requirements
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy based on client-centered treatment and recovery plans while maintaining required productivity standards
- Deliver services in office and community settings, including youth’s home, school, or other natural environments when appropriate
- Use evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and developmentally appropriate interventions
- Support youth and families by connecting them to community resources and providing advocacy as needed
- Maintain regular communication with families, schools, probation officers, and other involved supports to ensure coordinated care
- Promote recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care that emphasizes hope, respect, empowerment, and overall wellness
- Participate in meetings, staffings, supervision, trainings, and program development activities
- Provide leadership and guidance within the team, taking initiative with minimal supervision
- Support team members and provide backup coverage as needed
- Demonstrate strong customer service aligned with Chestnut’s standards
- Maintain confidentiality and protect all client and organizational information
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- May have a Bachelor's Degree with experience in mental health working toward a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field
- Must have a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field with at least 1,000 hours of supervised mental health experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance and be insurable (when applicable)
- Requires basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and an electronic medical record (EMR)
