Now Hiring: Staff Accountant (6‑Week Leave Coverage)
Location: Concord, CA - 100% Onsite
Anticipated Start Date: March 2nd
Pay Rate: $36-$45/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (1‑hour lunch)
Our client in the development industry is seeking a reliable and sharp Staff Accountant to support their accounting team during a 6‑week leave. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an onsite, detail‑oriented environment and can step in with confidence from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing sales journals and cost of sales entries
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Working heavily with paper-based processes
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel to build and manage workbooks (formulas required)
- Supporting daily accounting tasks within a fast‑paced team
Top Skills We're Looking For
- Yardi software experience (required)
- Background in the development industry
- Strong accounting fundamentals - sales journal, cost of sales, bank recs
Bonus: Exposure to TrueLine (not required)
Experience Needed
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Ability to thrive in a high‑volume environment with printed documentation
- Comfortable stepping into a short‑term role and contributing immediately
