PeopleReady of Lake Park , FL is now hiring Yard Mule Drivers / Yard Jockeys in Riviera Beach, FL. The Yard Mule Driver (Yard Jockey) is responsible for safely moving trailers within the yard, staging trailers for loading/unloading, and supporting the efficient flow of inbound and outbound freight. This role ensures that trailers are positioned accurately and on time to maintain smooth warehouse and transportation operations.

Pay Rate:
_The pay rate for this job is $16 - $16 / hour*_
What you'll be doing as aYard Mule Driver / Yard Jockey :
+ Operate a yard truck (yard mule/spotter truck) to move trailers to and from dock doors, staging areas, and parking zones
+ Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on the yard truck and report any safety or maintenance issues
+ Back trailers safely into tight dock locations with precision
+ Communicate frequently with warehouse teams, dispatch, and leadership regarding trailer moves and yard flow
+ Maintain an organized yard by tracking trailer locations and updating yard management logs or systems
+ Hook and unhook trailers safely, including handling landing gear, chock blocks, and air lines
+ Assist with verifying trailer numbers, seals, and load status
+ Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies and procedures
+ Support additional yard or warehouse tasks as needed
Available shifts:
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), Weekends
Job requirements:
+ Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
+ Previous experience operating a yard mule/yard jockey truck preferred
+ Recent CDL experience (CDL license not required), or Yard Mule/Jockey experience
+ Ability to safely maneuver trailers in tight spaces
+ Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
+ Reliable, safety-focused, and able to follow instructions consistently
+ Background check and Drug test required
