Working Supervisor-1st Shift

SUMMARY:

Join our team at Total Quality Assurance (TQA), a company with over 65 years of Quality Management experience in the automotive industry. We are currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor. We are looking for 1st shift applicants (M-F 6:00am-3:00pm). Overtime is required as needed, Saturdays typically are expected. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various warehouse operations, ensuring the maintenance of company assets, and leading a team to meet their goals. This is a fast-paced, physical role. Starting pay is $30/hr.

Responsibilities

·        Show up on time and ready to work each day.

·        Check GM schedule and put inspectors where they are needed on the floor

·        Perform quality inspections

·        Complete inspection sheets

·        Turn inspection sheets in at the end of each day

·        Monitor and restock cart supplies

·        Handle staff issues and report to HR

·        Ensure that all materials are returned to designated area at the end of shift

• Previous experience in a warehouse lead role managing hourly employees.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Access database.
• Knowledge of automotive products to perform quality controls.
• Ability to take direction and train employees
• Knowledge in various warehouse storage strategies.
• Forklift experience required
