Job Title: Workforce Software (WFS) Integration Developer

Job Overview:

  • We are looking for a WorkForce Software (WFS) Integration Developer to support the design, development, and optimization of our workforce management ecosystem. 
  • The role focuses on ensuring seamless communication between the WorkForce Suite (WFS) and external systems such as payroll, finance, and identity management platforms.
  • This is a hands-on technical position emphasizing API integrations, data transformation, and complex pay rule configuration within WFS.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and support integrations between WFS and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and file-based interfaces (CSV/XML). 
  • Manage and orchestrate data flows using middleware platforms such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), MuleSoft, or Dell Boomi, including configuring webhooks and event-driven processes to enable real-time synchronization of employee data and time punches.
  • Configure and enhance WFS technical components, including complex labor policies and union-based pay rules, using the WFS Policy Editor. 
  • Develop and maintain advanced JavaScript- and SQL-based formulas to support overtime calculations, shift premiums, and fatigue management. 
  • Serve as the Tier 3 technical escalation point for integration failures, data discrepancies, and gross pay export issues.
  • Lead data mapping and ETL efforts between WFS and external Payroll or ERP systems to ensure accurate gross-to-net processing. 
  • Create and maintain technical and audit reports using SQL or Cognos to validate data integrity, monitor integration health, and support ongoing troubleshooting.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with WorkForce Software (EmpCenter / WorkForce Suite).
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and SQL/PL-SQL.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, and SFTP-based integrations.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for UI-level customizations.
