We're seeking a Workday Reports Specialist to support the design, development, and optimization of Workday reporting solutions. This role will partner closely with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, improve data accuracy, and enhance visibility across key business processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced and custom Workday reports, dashboards, and scorecards (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and BIRT reports).
• Collaborate with functional teams (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Recruiting, etc.) to identify reporting requirements and translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy through testing, validation, and auditing of Workday reports.
• Build and manage calculated fields, report prompts, and worklets to enhance user experience and data accessibility.
• Partner with security teams to define and maintain appropriate report access and security permissions.
• Support Workday releases by testing reporting functionality and identifying potential impacts or enhancements.
• Document report designs, logic, and usage guidelines to support knowledge sharing and sustainability.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting support and analytical insights to leadership teams.

• 3+ years of Workday reporting experience, including Advanced and Matrix reports.
• Strong understanding of Workday data sources, calculated fields, and business objects.
• Experience supporting multiple Workday functional areas (e.g., HCM, Compensation, Absence, Payroll, Finance).
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional report specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail, data accuracy, and analytical thinking.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

• Higher ED experience
• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics or BIRT reporting.
• Familiarity with Workday Security and report distribution methods.
• Prior experience in a shared service, enterprise HRIS, or consulting environment.
• Workday Pro Certification in Reporting or equivalent experience.
