Shulman Rogers seeking a detail-oriented and proficient Word Processor to join the firm. As a Word Processor, you will be responsible for creating, formatting, and editing documents using word processing software. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of word processing experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Typing and formatting documents such as reports, letters, memos, manuals, and presentations using word processing software.
  • Proofread correspondence, memoranda, pleadings and documents to ensure accuracy of grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
  • Coordinate with colleagues to gather necessary information and inputs for document creation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve formatting or technical issues with documents.
  • Provide support to colleagues on word processing tasks as needed.

qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in word processing.
  • 5+ years of word processing experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary in order to establish effective working relationships.
  • Good organizational skills for prioritizing workload.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
