As a Wood Shop Helper and Delivery Driver, youll be essential in supporting daily operations and ensuring the production of high-quality moulding products. Youll work closely with a dedicated team to improve efficiency and maintain safety standards, gaining valuable skills along the way.
What Youll Do:
As a Wood Shop Helper and Delivery Driver you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the cutting, stacking, and bundling of various wood types for moulding production.
- Feeding wood of different lengths into the rip saw, inspecting for defects, and making necessary adjustments to ensure quality. (TRAINING PROVIDED)
- Removing finished boards and organizing them for shipping and delivery.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment while following safety protocols at all times.
What Youll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Basic ability to read a tape measure and use calipers with minimal assistance.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
- Valid Drivers License (mandatory), as driving company vehicles for deliveries may be required.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety instructions and proper technical procedures.
