The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine project requirements.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, defects, and adherence to established standards.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components from raw materials.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during welding operations.
• Grind, deburr, and finish welded products to achieve desired aesthetics and functionality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) relevant to manufacturing.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, defect-free welds in various materials and positions.
• Strong understanding and adherence to welding safety procedures and quality standards.
• Relevant AWS certification (e.g., D1.1) or equivalent industry certification.

Bonus Qualifications

• AWS certifications in multiple welding processes (e.g., TIG, Stick, Flux-cored arc welding)
• Experience with advanced fabrication techniques including cutting, grinding, and fitting
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and welding symbols
• Basic knowledge of welding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience with quality control processes, including visual inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) basics
