Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
(Flexible start time – many employees start as early as 5:00 AM)
Friday: Shortened day
(Most employees leave between 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with nearly all done by 3:00 PM)

Job Details
Perform high quality TIG welding approximately 75% of the time on a variety of materials, shapes, and complex fabrications
Complete additional welding (MIG/other processes as needed) to support production requirements
Read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and complete fabrication work
Fit, align, and weld parts to meet design requirements and quality standards
Set up and safely use welding machines, precision measuring tools, hand tools, power tools, saws, and hand plasma cutting equipment
Apply strong math and geometry skills during layout, measuring, and fabrication processes
Inspect completed parts and welds for quality, accuracy, and conformance to engineering requirements
Work closely with engineering, laser, and brake press departments to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies
Design and build jigs and fixtures to support weldments and improve production efficiency
Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials and machinery components safely
Perform basic welding equipment maintenance
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; welding certification from a technical school preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a welding/fabrication shop environment
Strong experience with TIG welding and familiarity with multiple welding processes
Experience working with various materials and using precision measuring tools
