Key Responsibilities

• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on different materials.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
• Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, defects, and adherence to specifications.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures in the welding area.
• Fabricate and assemble metal components as required.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Demonstrated understanding and application of safety protocols and quality control standards
• Relevant AWS certification (e.g., D1.1 Structural Welding Code – Steel) or equivalent
• Physical dexterity, stamina, and ability to work in various positions and environments

Bonus Qualifications

• TIG welding experience
• Fabrication experience (cutting, fitting, grinding)
• Forklift certification
• Experience with quality control procedures or basic NDT methods
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints or engineering schematics
