Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine project requirements.
• Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and positioning components.
• Inspect welded products for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in common welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
• AWS (American Welding Society) certification or equivalent.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certifications in additional welding processes or materials (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum).
• Proficiency with other fabrication tools (e.g., plasma cutters, grinders, press brakes).
• Forklift and/or overhead crane certification.
• Familiarity with quality inspection techniques (e.g., visual inspection, NDT methods).
