Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with standards.
• Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Strong understanding and adherence to welding safety protocols and procedures.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity for prolonged work in various positions.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, defect-free welds consistently.

Bonus Qualifications

• AWS D1.1 certification in multiple positions or materials (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum)
• Proficiency in TIG welding, in addition to MIG/Stick
• Experience with blueprint reading, layout, and basic fabrication techniques
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and basic weld inspection
