Job Summary

Join our team in Naples, FL, a city known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant arts scene, and excellent quality of life. We are seeking experienced TIG welders to perform a wide range of welding tasks on stainless steel and aluminum alloys. This role requires a high degree of precision and an artistic approach to welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex manual welds using various process methods and equipment.
• Work with stainless steel and aluminum alloys in fabricating or repairing parts and products.
• Execute approved welding techniques to meet engineering specifications.
• Participate in new product development or work with experimental materials under engineering guidance.
• Support lean manufacturing concepts and methods for efficient product flow.
• Read and interpret product and process drawings, procedures, weld symbols, and quality requirements.
• Adjust processes to achieve product conformance within procedural limits.
• Assist and train other employees as needed.
• Perform full set-up and maintenance to ensure quality and repeatability.
• Maintain a high level of performance while following safety rules and procedures.
• Document and log all parts accurately and maintain required paperwork.
• Maintain a high level of welding quality and analyze defects for correction.
• Implement lean initiatives by identifying areas for improvement.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and FOD-free work area.
• Obtain and maintain all required qualifications and certifications.
• Inspect and process work performed, detecting and correcting defects.
• Observe all company policies, including safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS D17.1, GTAW, and/or TIG welding.
• Proficiency in welding stainless steel and aluminum, with an artistic approach.
• Experience with automotive or motorcycle intake manifolds is preferred.
• Ability to perform continuous GTAW welds over a 6-inch span.
• Capability to pass a weld test, including 1G stainless and aluminum tests, and 2F fillet tests.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Shift Details

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Swing Shift: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
