Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Perform TIG and MIG welding on large stainless steel industrial equipment
  • Weld thin gauge stainless steel (primarily 16 GA) with attention to cosmetic and sanitary standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders to determine work requirements
  • Assemble and fabricate stainless steel components for fryers, ovens, and conveyor systems
  • Ensure welds meet structural and aesthetic standards required for USDA-inspected equipment
  • Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to meet deadlines and maintain product quality
  • Maintain tools, safety standards, and cleanliness in compliance with manufacturing policies

You should have most of the following:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of TIG and MIG welding experience (stainless steel preferred)
  • Experience working with thin gauge metals (16 GA or similar)
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to cosmetic weld quality
  • Food or pharmaceutical industry background highly preferred
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively in a production environment
