Welder

Are you an experienced Welder looking for a company change that offers excellent benefits? 

A well?established fabrication company in Zelienople, PA is hiring a Day?Shift Welder to join their team. This role involves argon/oxygen welding, blueprint reading, and producing high?quality welded assemblies.

LOCATION:  Zelienople, PA  

PAY: $18–$22/hr to start

SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:15 PM

Job Duties

•             Perform argon/oxygen welding per blueprints and weld symbols

•             Complete finish welds and monitor product quality

•             Use conventional and precision measuring tools

•             Document job and quality information (paper & computer)

•             Maintain clean, organized work area

•             Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment

•             Follow all safety protocols and report defects

•             Work with urgency, accuracy, and attention to detail

 

Qualifications

•             High school diploma required; welding training/certification preferred

•             Must obtain AWS D1.1 certification within 6 months

•             Working knowledge of wire/filler materials for steel, aluminum, and alloys

•             Understanding of weld setup parameters (amps, volts, etc.)

•             1+ year welding experience (fabrication shop preferred)

•             Ability to operate welding tools and related equipment
