Key Responsibilities

• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on a range of materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, proper penetration, and compliance with standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, including welders, grinders, and other hand tools.
• Fabricate and assemble metal components according to design specifications.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Clean and prepare surfaces for welding, ensuring proper fit-up and alignment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of professional welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in multiple welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, precise welds meeting industry standards.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced welding processes (e.g., robotic, laser, electron beam welding).
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or other advanced NDT certifications.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols.
• Fabrication experience, including cutting, grinding, and fitting components.
