Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine appropriate welding processes.
• Operate various welding equipment (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) to join, fabricate, and repair metal components.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, defects, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Perform grinding, deburring, and finishing operations on welded parts to ensure smooth and clean surfaces.
• Set up and maintain welding equipment, tools, and work area in a clean and organized manner.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• AWS D1.1 or equivalent welding certifications.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced fabrication techniques (e.g., fitting, layout, grinding).
• Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and quality control standards.
• Proficiency in welding a variety of materials (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum).
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment.
