Job Details
We are seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our team and support daily production efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing high-quality MIG welding and fabrication work while ensuring all products meet required specifications, safety standards, and deadlines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on a variety of materials with a high level of precision and consistency
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings to complete jobs accurately
Ensure all welds meet AWS standards and pass required weld tests
Set up and operate welding equipment, tools, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
Inspect finished welds and components to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
Assist with material preparation, cutting, fitting, and assembly of fabricated parts
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with shop standards
Support production goals by working efficiently and meeting deadlines
Assist with basic equipment maintenance and report any issues to ensure safe operation
Collaborate with team members and management to resolve issues and improve processes
Requirements
Minimum of 3–5 years of MIG welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
Ability to pass an AWS-certified welding test
Strong understanding of welding symbols, blueprints, and fabrication drawings
Experience working with a variety of materials and fabrication processes
Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and shop practices
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
Reliable, team-oriented, and able to take direction while working independently
