Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) on diverse materials according to specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine welding requirements.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to specifications using appropriate tools.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures as per production needs.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
• Adhere to all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards during operations.
• Prepare surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, or deburring as required.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in common welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Demonstrated understanding and adherence to welding safety protocols.
• Physical dexterity, stamina, and good hand-eye coordination.
• Experience welding various materials (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum).
• Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1).

Bonus Qualifications

• Forklift or overhead crane certification
• Experience with robotic or automated welding systems
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and inspection techniques
• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills for welding equipment
