WebMethods Integration Developer

We are seeking an experienced WebMethods Integration Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in WebMethods Integration Server, solid Core Java skills, and experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs. Exposure to Python for scripting or automation is a plus. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using WebMethods (Integration Server, Flow Services, Adapters, Trading Networks, MWS).
• Develop and enhance backend components using Core Java, following object-oriented principles and coding best practices.
• Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs for system-to-system integrations.
• Implement end-to-end integration including message transformation, routing, and error handling.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other development teams to understand integration requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration, performance, and production issues.
• Support deployment activities across environments and ensure smooth release cycles.
• Write and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and adhere to coding standards.
• Ensure integration solutions meet security, performance, and compliance standards.

Essential Skills:

• WebMethods Integration Server (versions 7.1.2, 8.x, 9.x), Flow Services, Adapters, Trading Networks, MWS
• Experience with B2B integrations, EAI applications, and handling document types such as EDI, XML, Flatfiles, and IDOCs
• Strong Core Java skills, including developing Java services in WebMethods
• Experience with RESTful APIs and WSDL-based services
• Unix/Linux scripting and SQL query expertise
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to Python scripting for automation
• Knowledge of JMS queues, pub-sub, request/reply, file and database integrations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
