Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field (e.g., chemistry, biology, environmental science) or equivalent combination of formal training/certification and professional work experience that demonstrates the prerequisite competence to perform the duties of this position
One year of experience managing projects and/or programs related to environmental projects and programs
Knowledge of environmental compliance concepts
Knowledge of environmental compliance related to stormwater compliance
Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrates sound judgment and confidence in making timely, effective decisions.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Must be at least 20 years old with a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

Two or more years of experience managing projects and/or programs related to environmental projects and programs
Certified Stormwater Operator 1
Certified Stormwater Operator 2
Certified Stormwater Erosion & Sedimentation Control Inspector
Knowledge of permitting processes related to stormwater systems
Knowledge of Publix stormwater systems and how they function.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to read and understand drainage plans
Ability to read and understand regulatory permits and rules
