Schedule
- Full-time position (40+ hours per week)
- Primarily day shifts with rotating on-call coverage (weekly rotation for emergency response)
- Overtime opportunities frequently available
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restoration technicians on residential and commercial job sites
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and conduct thorough property damage assessments
- Perform and oversee water extraction, fire/smoke damage mitigation, mold remediation, and related restoration services
- Manage daily on-site operations to ensure superior quality, strict safety standards, and timely project completion
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain exceptional levels of customer satisfaction
- Communicate clearly with customers, project managers, and office staff to set and meet expectations
- Maintain equipment, vehicles, and job sites in line with industry best practices
- Complete accurate job documentation and ensure full compliance with IICRC standards and all safety protocols
Additional Responsibilities
- Strictly adhere to and enforce all OSHA guidelines for job site safety
- Manage company assets by properly protecting, operating, and maintaining equipment and materials
- Coach, mentor, and train restoration technicians to build team skills and performance
Position Requirements
- Valid driver's license (clean record required)
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in the restoration industry, specifically with water and/or fire damage mitigation
- Basic proficiency with computers and smartphones for job documentation and communication
Preferred Qualifications
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification
- IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD) certification
- Proven experience operating restoration equipment (e.g., extractors, dehumidifiers, air movers)
Skills, Physical Demands, and Competencies
- Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally with team assistance
- Capable of repetitive pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying throughout the workday
- Willing and able to work safely with/around cleaning agents and chemicals
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with a customer-first mindset
