Insight Globals client, a leading utilities provider, is hiring a Senior Wastewater Project Manager to join their expanding team in Newark, DE. This hybrid role offers remote flexibility and includes travel to project sites in Southern Delaware using a company vehicle. The Project Manager will manage 57 wastewater projects simultaneously, from design through construction, acting as the owners representative.
Responsibilities Include:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, RFPs, and requirements
Lead internal and external design teams through permitting and development of wastewater projects
Oversee and assist in the development of bid documents and specifications, coordinate bidding processes, review bids, and make recommendations for project awards
Manage wastewater construction projects, including but not limited to, wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, wastewater lift and pump stations, and spray irrigation systems
Inspect work performed by both company projects and those being completed by third parties that the company will take over
Review engineering designs to identify and mitigate risks
Review and prepare project budgets and schedules. Provide pre-planning and resource forecasting for the Engineering Department relating to projects.
Develop or review cost estimates for projects.
Coordinate and manage project submittals, deliverables, and approvals against contract requirements
Provide technical reviews for external development plans
Help develop SOPs for Engineering Department efficiency
Work cross-functionally with Operations, Planning, Accounting, and Safety teams
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Perform other duties as needed

Skills and Requirements
8-10 years of experience in construction project management
Minimum 5 years managing wastewater projects Bachelors degree in Engineering or Construction Management null
