- Oversee the full construction lifecycle for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including new construction, upgrades, and expansions.
- Lead internal teams and subcontractors to ensure all phases of the project are executed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Manage project budgets closely, track costs, and proactively address deviations to avoid overruns.
- Serve as the main liaison with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to drive communication and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure strict compliance with environmental regulations, safety protocols, and permitting requirements.
- Oversee site preparation, materials procurement, subcontractor coordination, and system commissioning.
- Anticipate and mitigate risks related to site conditions, weather delays, equipment logistics, and regulatory hurdles.
- Provide leadership and direction to superintendents and field personnel, maintaining a strong, safety-driven jobsite culture.
Water/Wastewater Project Manager Requirements:
- Project Manager: 3+ years of construction project management experience, including at least two water/wastewater projects with budgets of $5M or more completed successfully.
- Senior Project Manager: 5+ years of construction project management experience on water/wastewater projects with budgets exceeding $25M completed successfully.
- Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering or other related field is strongly preferred
- Experience working in Procore, MS Project, and/or Bluebeam is strongly preferred
