Warranty Clerk

TEAM FORD LINCOLN is looking for a full-time Warranty Clerk to join our dealership. As a Warranty Clerk in this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for preparing, recording and submitting warranty claims to the factory and/or distributor and reconciling them accordingly. We offer Medical, Dental & Health, 401k with company match and company paid life insurance all subjected to applicable waiting periods.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Processes warranty claims on a timely basis.
• Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation.
• Verifies criteria required by factory.
• Processes rentals.
• Stays informed on all factory recalls and bulletins.
• Assists with any clerical needs as directed by the fixed operations manager or the warranty manager.
• Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience working in a dealership, preferably with service or warranties.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT Working environment is primarily indoors in an office setting and occasionally outdoors and in inclement weather; and will require some travel to various City locations
