Looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Warehouse/Purchasing Expeditor.  This position is full time, Monday through Friday, 7:00-4:00PM. Will train for the right candidate.

The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of purchasing tasks and other clerical functions to support production schedule.

  • Contacting vendors over the phone and email to process purchase requisitions, request quotes, coordinating and monitoring schedules with vendors
  • Generating Purchase orders from ERP demand requirements and purchase requisitions
  • Update Purchase materials Standard Costs
  • Reconcile discrepancies with Receiving department
  • Create Production Jobs and Documentation to support customer orders
  • Reconcile completed jobs for inventory and quantity variances
  • Assist Production planner in scheduling and expediting selected part numbers or product lines in manufacturing and related vendors
  • Other related activities
