Warehouse Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager for a location in Joliet, IL. The Warehouse Operations Manager will oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, staff supervision, and reporting.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments.
  
• Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, repacking, and shipping.
  
• Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and audits.
  
• Implement and maintain storage and labeling systems to minimize loss or misplacement.
  
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track orders and inventory.
  
• Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule warehouse staff; assign tasks and monitor employee performance.
  
• Set productivity targets and monitor productivity.
  
• Enforce company policies and maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of forklifts and other equipment.
  
• Prepare reports on inventory accuracy, productivity, and costs.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (preferred).
  
• 5+ years of warehouse management experience in a supervisory role (preferred).
  
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean a plus
  
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
