- Use a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials and products within a warehouse.
- Maintain records and develop skills in basic tasks within defined processes.
- Complete routine tasks following standard operating procedures and quality guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
- Lift and/or move over 50 lbs as required.
- Perform warehouse receiving/distribution activities
- Meet warehouse and shipping/receiving requirements
- Supervise warehouse employees to operate the distribution warehouse
- Perform all warehouse shipping and receiving duties
- Keep shipping and warehouse area
- Manage warehouse inventory control performance indicators
- Maintain safety equipment in warehouse
- Maintain shipping/warehouse records on computer
- Managing all warehouse operations and supervising of warehouse personnel and drivers
- Supervising warehouse and warehouse personnel and drivers
- Maintain inventory accuracy in the warehouse
- Motivate team of warehouse employees
- Conduct safety meeting for warehouse
- Assist in daily warehouse functions
- Supervising the picking, shipping, receiving and warehouse
- Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to reviews
- Mentor all new warehouse personnel
- Provide training on warehouse equipment
- Meet warehouse operational standards by following warehouse white paper processes
- Assign duties to warehouse personnel
Critical Information
- Work schedule hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. First shift.
- 10 panel drug screening required.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme weather conditions, and moderate to loud noise levels.
Education/Licenses Needed
- High school diploma or GED not required.
- Previous Forklift driving experience.
- General skills training in material handling or logistics preferred.
