EFC International is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead, oversee and optimize daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives on building efficient systems, developing teams, and delivering high levels of service to commercial construction and industrial customers.
Position Overview
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and safety while driving performance metrics such as On Time In Full OTIF and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management
Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff and company drivers while fostering a productive and safety focused culture
Ensure accurate and timely inventory transactions using Prophet21 P21 or similar ERP systems
Develop and maintain warehouse layout standards to improve workflow and maximize space utilization
Lead cycle counts and inventory audits and resolve discrepancies
Manage Vendor Managed Inventory VMI programs and ensure customer locations are properly stocked
Collaborate with Sales and other departments to support customer needs, urgent orders, and special projects
Monitor and improve OTIF performance and overall service levels
Oversee shipping processes including carrier coordination and compliance with customer requirements
Track and report key performance indicators including order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and on time shipping
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment using 6S principles
Ensure compliance with safety standards including OSHA and proper use of PPE
Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate preventative maintenance
Specialized Experience
Experience managing satellite or remote warehouse locations with consistent operational standards
Proven ability to lead warehouse relocations, expansions, or facility moves with minimal disruption to operations
Experience scaling or reorganizing warehouse operations in growing environments
Supervisory Responsibilities
Lead and supervise warehouse team members across receiving, shipping, inventory, and VMI functions
Provide coaching, performance feedback, and training to support employee development and achieve performance goals
Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required with a degree in Supply Chain Logistics or related field preferred
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of warehouse experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Strong experience with ERP or WMS systems preferably Prophet21
Demonstrated success achieving warehouse performance metrics such as OTIF and inventory accuracy
Experience with VMI programs or customer managed inventory is a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and OSHA requirements
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
Work Environment
Work is performed in warehouse, industrial, and customer site environments with varying temperatures and noise levels
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds is required
Use of appropriate personal protective equipment is required
