Warehouse Manager

We are seeking a Warehouse & Fleet Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, and fleet management for a cooling tower service company in Mountainside, NJ.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring technicians have the tools, materials, and equipment needed to deliver efficient, high-quality service. The ideal candidate brings strong operational leadership, inventory expertise, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.

Position Offers

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping while maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, and coordination with procurement

• Support field service operations by staging materials, managing tool and equipment flow, and responding quickly to urgent service needs

• Manage fleet operations including scheduling, maintenance, inspections, compliance, and overall readiness to support technician workloads

• Coordinate logistics, vendor relationships, and deliveries while optimizing cost, efficiency, and turnaround times

• Lead, train, and schedule warehouse staff while tracking KPIs, driving process improvements, and ensuring safety and compliance

Requirements

• 3+ years of warehouse, inventory, or logistics management experience

• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse best practices

• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems

• Proven leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)

Preferred

• Experience supporting field service operations (HVAC, construction, industrial, etc.)

• Fleet management experience

• Forklift certification

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
