Position Summary
We are seeking an experiencedWarehouse Managerto lead shipping, receiving, material handling, and inventory control within a defense and aerospace manufacturing environment. This role ensures that materials flow efficiently and accurately from receiving through production and final shipment while maintaining strict inventory accuracy and regulatory compliance.
The Warehouse Manager plays a critical role in supporting production schedules, maintaining traceability, and improving material flow across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving Operations
- Lead dailyshipping and receivingoperations
- Ensure on-time shipment of customer orders and internal transfers
- Manage inbound material inspection coordination and documentation
- Maintain compliance with packaging, labeling, and export requirements
Materials Management & Production Support
- Ensure materials areavailable and stagedto support production schedules
- Coordinate material movement between stockroom, WIP, and production areas
- Collaborate closely with Production Planning and Supply Chain teams
- Support kitting, staging, and material presentation improvements
Inventory Control & Cycle Counting
- Owninventory accuracyand warehouse organization
- Implement and leadcycle count programsand annual physical inventory
- Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Maintain lot traceability and material control processes
Warehouse Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Supervise warehouse team and daily activities
- Establish safe, efficient material flow and storage practices
- Identify and implement process improvements and lean initiatives
- Maintain KPI tracking for inventory accuracy, shipping performance, and productivity
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence tosafety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain proper handling and storage of materials
- Support audit readiness and documentation requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge ofwarehouse and inventory management
- Experience supportingmanufacturing or production environments
- Experience withcycle counts and inventory accuracy programs
- Familiarity withERP/MRP systems
- Leadership and team development skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency inMicrosoft Excel and inventory reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience inaerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing
- Lean / continuous improvement exposure
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain
- Experience with lot traceability or controlled materials
Education & Experience
Preferred:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s in:- Supply Chain- Logistics
- Operations
- Business
- Or related field
Experience:
- 5+ years warehouse/materials experience
- 2+ years supervisory experience
Work Environment
- Daily presence in warehouse and production areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
