Role Summary
The Warehouse Manager oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies. This role involves developing policies to support the supply chain strategy, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and facilitating timely distribution to meet production schedules. Additionally, the role involves maintaining a well-organized and equipped warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
Job Responsibilties
Develop and implement comprehensive policies and procedures governing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure streamlined operations.
Support the supply chain strategy by maintaining appropriate inventory levels and ensuring the timely distribution of goods to meet production schedules.
Track inventory effectively by performing regular physical counts and verifying discrepancies against warehousing systems, ensuring accurate inventory records.
Manage warehouse operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff while leading and coordinating a team of hourly employees responsible for the storage and distribution of materials.
Collaborate closely with transportation and logistics teams to plan and coordinate shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal resource utilization.
Monitor warehouse operations to ensure compliance with regulations governing materials handling, storage, and distribution, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Ensure that the warehouse is well-maintained, organized, and equipped with the necessary tools and equipment for efficient operations, promoting a safe and effective working environment.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Required)
Education: Bachelor's
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to push/pull objects up to 30 pounds.
