Job Summary

You will play a crucial role in leading and motivating a team to achieve warehouse objectives. This position offers the opportunity to enhance your career in RMA Manufacturing by coordinating activities, monitoring workflow, and maintaining a safe work environment in line with company standards and production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team to complete warehouse activities, including picking parts for production needs, compliance, shipping, receiving, inventory, sorting, scrap, and cycle counting.
  • Drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Provide recommendations on process improvements and assist with implementation.
  • Review incoming material orders and pick tickets.
  • Place materials on order picker, pallet jack, or forklift.
  • Lead delivery items to the proper loading area or delivery truck.
  • Unload trucks and stock inventory.
  • Ensure the team's daily tasks are communicated to the next shift for uncompleted tasks or urgent needs.
  • Maintain attendance records for the team.
  • Lead and direct warehouse operators to ensure consistent workflow and timely completion of production targets.
  • Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and implement improvements to maximize productivity and product quality.
  • Ensure compliance by enforcing safety standards, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Onboard new employees and cross-train team members to promote flexibility and skills enhancement.
  • Troubleshoot issues by identifying and resolving production problems or equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Supervise a team while prioritizing policies, strategic objectives, and organizational goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; 2-year technical degree or 4-year degree preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs; must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality assurance focus.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of assembly processes and production line best practices.
  • Proficiency in enforcing and following SOPs.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, including data entry, analysis, and reporting.
