DLP Staffing is currently accepting applications for the position of:

POSITION TITLE:  WAREHOUSE FORKLIFT OPERATOR
 Location:  San Antonio, TX
FLSA: Non-Exempt 
Hire Pay: DOE 
Classification: Full-Time
 
 JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • The Warehouse Forklift Operator will use a forklift to transport different materials around the warehouse and to load and unload materials from the loading dock.

JOB SUMMARY:
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to load and unload materials manually, off or on pallets, platforms, skids, or lifting devices.
  • Perform pre- and post-inspections to ensure working forklift equipment.
  • Plans and coordinates with upper management regarding loading and unloading operations.
  • Keep updated records of inventory.
  • Comply with company guidelines and safety policies.
  • Other duties as assigned such as carrying 50 lbs bags on catwalks and platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Forklift experience a plus, but not required 
  • Bilingual preferred  

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Receives supervision from the supervisor. Position has formal assigned supervisory responsibility and authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor environment, with high equipment noise, and subject to outside temperatures.  

ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Staffing has a Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
 
Other: Valid Drivers’ License Class C
