Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Warehouse/Driver to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating various commercial vehicles, including box trucks, flatbeds, and heavy equipment, to transport goods efficiently between locations. Duties

• Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles such as box trucks, tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and shuttle buses to deliver goods across designated routes.
• Load and unload freight using equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual handling techniques while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and route records for all shipments transported.
• Assist in warehouse duties including inventory management, stock movement, and organizing freight for efficient loading and unloading.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
• Operate specialized equipment such as tow trucks or heavy haul vehicles when required for specific transportation needs.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a focus on route driving, shuttle driving, or freight delivery.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshooting minor issues.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts, pallet jacks, flatbeds, tanker trucks, and heavy equipment operation.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and customers clearly and professionally.
• Ability to load & unload freight efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
• Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and different types of commercial vehicles including box trucks, limousines, or school buses is preferred.
• Physical ability to move freight safely and perform routine vehicle inspections in various weather conditions.
