Warehouse Clerk Job Description:

PrideStaff is currently recruiting for multiple Warehouse Clerks to perform general warehouse duties. The Warehouse Clerk will support the inventory and warehouse operations by performing duties that may include, but are not limited to, unloading/loading trailers, picking, pulling, counting, and packing. The Warehouse Clerk is an entry-level position with training available for all responsibilities and duties, although some related prior experience is preferred. The Warehouse Clerk position is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Union City, CA.

Warehouse Clerk Job Responsibilities:

• Picks, Pulls, Counts, packs & Transacts Manufacturing Orders While Following GMP

• Researches Lost or Misplaced Orders or Products

• Maintains Proper Inventory & Documentation for all Material & Finished Goods Inventory in Facilities

• Answers Phone & Email Accordingly

• Communicates Error to Relevant Parties

• Marks & Labels Stock

• Counts & Confirms Inventory

• Ensures Cleanliness, Tidiness & Safety of Work Environment

• Responds to & Facilitates Requests for Inventory/Warehouse Tasks

• Delivers Efficient Utilization of Warehouse Space

• Reliable, Responsible & Able to Work Independantly

• Perform Other Duties as Assigned by Manager

Warehouse Clerk Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

• Must be able to Read & Write in English & Spanish

• Must Have Basic Knowledge of Inventory Systems & Warehouse Operations

• Experience with Forklift & Other Power Equipment Operation or be Willing to be Trained and Have a Valid Calif. Drivers License. Forklift Certification is Expected to be Completed Within 1 Year of Hire Date

• Must be Computer Literate; Proficient Skillset in MS Suite, Appropriate to the Job Task

• Must be Able to Work in a Fast-Paced, Deadline Oriented Environment

• Must be Able to Read Engineering Drawings

• Experience Working in a Warehouse Environment is Preferred

• Exerience Working With Inventory, ERP & IS Systems is Preferred

• Must be Able to Stand or Sit on Lift Truck for Long Periods Throughout Shift

• Must be able to Lift 50 Lbs
