Warehouse Associate Forklift Experience (Flowery Branch, GA)

As our Warehouse Picker/Packer Associate, you will be responsible for accurately picking, verifying, and packing customer orders to ensure timely and error-free shipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to navigate warehouse inventory systems, and proficiency in using RF scanners or the warehouse management system (WMS). Success in this position depends on maintaining accuracy when verifying part numbers, quantities, and product specifications; packaging items securely to meet company and customer standards; and consistently adhering to safety, quality, and organizational best practices to support efficient warehouse operations and on-time delivery.

Tasks will include:

Picking:

• Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners, pick lists, or WMS instructions.

• Locate inventory using warehouse slotting systems and maintain knowledge of product

• locations.

• Verify part numbers, quantities, lot/batch numbers, and expiration dates when required.

• Move picked items safely to designated packing or staging areas.

• Report inventory shortages, location errors, or product damage to supervisors.

Packing:

• Review picked items for accuracy and quality before packing.

• Package items securely using correct materials to prevent damage during transit.

• Ensure all packages meet company and customer requirements for protection and

• presentation.

• Create and affix correct labels, packing slips, and compliance documents.

• Build, wrap, and secure pallets for LTL or bulk shipments when required.

General Warehouse Duties:

• Keep picking, packing, and shipping zones clean, organized, and safe.

• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, carts, forklifts — if certified) safely.

• Follow all warehouse safety policies, PPE requirements, and standard operating

• procedures.

• Communicate with supervisors and teammates to resolve order issues or workflow

• delays.

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Strong attention to detail, especially with small parts and precise counts.

• Excellent communicator and time management skills

• Be a Boplan ambassador living the Boplan values and take ownership.

• Ability to read part numbers, labels, pick lists, and packing documentation.

• Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred.

• Eagerness and determination to learn new things

• Good hand dexterity and accuracy when handling small hardware components.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Ability to lift and move boxes or hardware items (typically up to 50 lbs.).

• Basic computer skills for shipping systems and WMS data entry.
