The Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for managing warehouse and logistics processes and personnel to support Customer delivery targets and Inventory metrics and implementing processes that improve operating efficiencies, inventory accuracies and reduce cost within plant and logistics costs.

Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and professional Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory accuracy, and lead a team of warehouse associates to ensure efficient and safe logistics execution. You will be responsible for optimizing warehouse processes, maintaining compliance with safety standards, and driving operational excellence across all warehouse functions.
- Supervise and schedule warehouse staff, ensuring adequate coverage and productivity while fostering a safe and positive team environment
- Manage inventory control processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations to maintain accuracy and efficiency
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics such as order fulfillment rates, inventory accuracy, and labor productivity to identify improvement opportunities
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies; conduct safety training and investigations as needed
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize warehouse layout, processes, and workflows
- Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records related to warehouse activities and performance
- Train, mentor, and develop warehouse associates; conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse operations or logistics management experience
- Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, supply chain processes, and inventory control procedures
- Solid understanding of safety regulations, OSHA compliance, and workplace safety best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification (preferred)
- Experience with shipping and receiving operations (preferred)
- Familiarity with lean or continuous improvement methodologies (preferred)
- Extended MRP and/or ERP experience.
